Conservative therapy for the destruction of the vitreous body is indicated in cases where there is no threat to vision, changes are associated with physiological or age-related causes, and foreign objects in front of the eyes do not bring significant discomfort to the patient. This type of treatment does not bring a complete recovery, but it can slow down the development of the disease, the formation of new "visual interference" and improve the general condition of a person.


Application of eye drops

  1. Ethylmorphine. It is applied in the form of drops into the conjunctival sac, causes slight swelling and hyperemia, which are the result of improved blood circulation in this area.
  2. Taurine ("Taufon"). A drug that improves metabolism.
  3. Methylethylpyridinol (for example, "Emoxipin"). This is a means to protect the vascular wall, improve blood circulation. It is applied in the form of drops. Pentoxifylline ("Trental"), dipyridamole ("Kurantil") can be used inside.

  5. Vitamins. B vitamins are used, as well as vitamin A (retinol) and vitamin C.
